Let yourself be drawn into the spell of this unique musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' story with your family and experience a captivating production, also newly revised this year, that brings to life the bitter Ebenezer Scrooge and many well-known characters from the Christmas classic. The swirling dance spirits, the poor yet warm-hearted family of Laureen, the cheerful niece and employee of Mister Scrooge, or the infamous spirits of the three Christmases, all transport you into a magical world where a life almost lived full of sorrow is reinvented to make room for love, joy, and gratitude. Twenty exceptionally talented professionals, including youth and children (most from the company's own talent pool) as well as adult stage performers like the full-blood musical actor Peter Faerber, will surprise, enchant, and captivate on stage. Director Norberto Bertassi guarantees, as always, to do everything to make the hearts of the audience beat faster. This year, there will be the fantastic costumes by the talented costume designer Brigitte Huber, great-granddaughter of Gustav Klimt. teatro is increasingly known as a talent factory. Currently, teatro is proud that a long-standing member, Moritz Mausser from Baden, has earned his first leading role at the Vereinigte Bühnen, playing Falco in the musical 'Rock me Amadeus.' The adult Scrooge this year will be played by the promising young Timo Petz, who is the next extraordinary teatro performer after Moritz Mausser and Nicolas Vinzenz, both of whom are already pursuing major musical careers with the Vereinigte Bühnen. David Mannhart continues to portray the Ghost of Christmas Present in the Christmas story, a role he has skillfully enlivened in recent years. He became well known in 2021 as a finalist in the ORF success show Starmania. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Duration: approximately 2.5 hours including a break.
