Reparatur-Treff

What's it about?

Every first Friday of the month from 2 pm to 5 pm, the community event 'Reparatur – Treff' is organized in the community hall of Maria Lanzendorf. When a small defect suddenly causes a mixer, toaster, shaver, hairdryer, lamp, or other household appliances to stop working after many years, good advice is often expensive. We offer help for self-help! If it gets tricky, we also lend a hand ourselves. The activists at the Reparatur - Treff work voluntarily and free of charge on a volunteer basis. Tools, glue, a small amount of spare parts, and a lot of joy in improvisation are available. Starting now, sewing repairs are also carried out! We show you how to make minor alterations to clothing, such as shortening pants, repairing or replacing zippers. If necessary, a helping hand is also available here. Knitting and crochet tips included. The purpose of this project is to reduce waste and thereby save valuable resources. Anything you can carry in your hands is welcome. But please only bring one item per visit to reduce waiting times. Advance registration is not possible.
