But fate is not kind to him - but all the more so to the audience, because how this "lying minister" tumbles from one catastrophe to the next is truly an absurd, breakneck delight! Apart from the affair, there is suddenly also a highly annoying corpse that has to be hidden from the suspicious Mrs. Sacher, the press, a cunning waiter and the jealous spouse.
