A contemporary clown piece about shame, desire, and connection. Clown Viola Wawusch has settled comfortably into her life. However, her longing for connection and her sensual curiosity are growing stronger. Figuratively speaking, her desire is already coming out of her ears! Will she succeed in transforming into a life full of pleasure and free from shame? This humorous and poetic solo combines physical theatre, singing, ukulele playing, and dance to explore the absurd depths of suppressed desire and shame. On the playground of female* desire, the boundaries of what one truly wants and what one permits oneself are tested. We embark on an unforgettable journey in search of self-determination, ecstatic joy, and complete fulfillment! Duration: 50 minutes. Theresarealizes artistic and theatre pedagogical projects in the field of contemporary circus and physical theatre, especially clowning and at the intersection with dance improvisation. She celebrates her major clown debut in Vienna after initial touring experience with Circus Giovanni as 'Pulcinella' in an opera production of the eponymous ballet by Igor Stravinsky at the Neues Studio stage at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. She then earned her diploma at LISPA (London International School of Performing Arts), an English body theatre and clown school under Thomas Prattki. She is the founder of the body theatre workshop and was active as director and performer at Rhizomatic Circus (ID-Entity and amorph). In 2022, she presented her work-in-progress Bouffon performance 'VUL(°) STOP' on the theme of female* desire at the Malta Festival in Poland, at the Ildfluefest of Odin Teatret in Denmark, and at Theater Olé in Vienna. In 2024, she completed her master's degree in Devising Theatre and Performance at Rose Bruford College & arthaus.berlin.
