CANCELLED! In these Last Aid courses, interested citizens learn again what they can do for the people close to them at the end of life. Knowledge about Last Aid and caring for seriously ill and dying people should, like first aid, become general knowledge and thus a meaningful form of help that strengthens community cohesion. We provide basic knowledge, orientation, and simple techniques, aiming to encourage people to turn to those in the final phase of life. Because attention is what we all need most at the end of life. Participants learn Last Aid, which is the accompaniment of seriously ill and dying people at the end of life. The end of life and dying often make us as fellow human beings feel helpless and uncertain. The Last Aid course is deliberately aimed at all people and deals with the wishes, problems, and needs of people in the final phase of life. What can I do? What support options are available? How can I meet the relatives and loved ones? The course consists of four modules of 45 minutes each: Module 1: Dying is a part of life Module 2: Planning and decision-making Module 3: Alleviating suffering Module 4: Saying goodbye Registration by September 22 to gesundeGemeinde@pillichsdorf.at Cost: €20
