CULINARY - CHEESE & WINE SEMINAR
What's it about?
At our Cheese & Wine Seminar, the worlds of enjoyment of the most famous cheese types are conveyed with the finest Weinviertel wine varieties in the traditional ambience of our centuries-old press house in the Pillichsdorf Kellergasse. After an overview of the history of the Weinviertel and viticulture as well as the Kellergassen culture, the region-specific characteristics of soil and climate of the Weinviertel are discussed. A cellar tour takes place and afterwards, under the guidance of a knowledgeable sommelier, one tastes and learns about the coordinated delicacies of cheese and wine. The course content ranges from tradition, production and varietal knowledge of cheese and wine to sensory analysis and a convivial presentation with a professionally commented tasting of a cheese plate with 8 types of cheese. We serve suitable regional wines from Pillichsdorf. Seminar duration: approx. 4 hours Dates: March to October, 2x/Mon each and depending on request from 6 people Minimum number of people: 6 people/date additional offer: Free shuttle service from Obersdorf train station to Pillichsdorf
