APIS-Z is a Demeter-certified beekeeping company in Königsbrunn in the Weinviertel, run by Wolfgang Schmidt. With his 8 million employees, the passionate beekeeper produces not only organic honey but also many other honey products such as propolis, beeswax candles, and honey vinegar. Wolfgang Schmidt organizes various courses on beekeeping and bees, as well as interesting events such as communal honey extraction. Furthermore, guests can also be present when a new bee swarm moves in. Another interesting topic is apitherapy, where various bee products are used for the prevention and healing of diseases.
