What's it about?

Susanne Czerny's interest in artistic creation was evident from her childhood and youth. During her career as a primary school teacher, she taught herself various techniques. In recent years, she intensified her development by participating in workshops with various artists, such as Siegfried Santoni, Angelika Domenig, Anke Ryba, Marion Rauter, Werner Bösch at Kunstfabrik Wien. The creation of the paintings varies, sometimes from deep thoughts, by chance, or according to realistic specifications. She uses different techniques. On the one hand, elements are only hinted at, on the other hand, certain parts are worked out realistically. This allows for and encourages individual interpretations. To express different moods, she layers many coats of paint. The finished painting is thus the expression of an inner dialogue. Susanne Czerny, born in Vienna, has lived with her husband in Schrick since 2011.
