What's it about?

20 Poysdorf wineries open their cellars from November 13th to 15th and invite for wine tastings. The focus is on young wines, robust reserves, mature red wines, and sparkling sekt. Starting the weekend with an after-work tasting on Friday from 5 pm to 10 pm, the wineries kick off the event. On Saturday, the winemakers invite visitors for tastings from 1 pm to 8 pm. Afterwards, from 8 pm, an after-show party takes place at the Kulturhaus Poysdorf. On Sunday, from 9 am to 12 pm, the wineries open again for wine shopping and voucher redemption. Tickets are exchanged for tasting bands at the wineries on the day of the event. Participating wineries include: Weingut Amon, Weingut Deutsch, Weingut Gmeinböck, Weingut Haimer, Weingut Hauser, Weingut Heger, Weingut Hirtl, Weingut Hugl-Wimmer, Weingut Kalser, Weingut Latschka, Weingut Neustifter, Weingut Valentin Oppenauer, Bioweingut Rainer Oppenauer, Veltlinerhof – Weingut Rieder, Weingut R. Schodl, Weingut Schreiber, Weingut H. Schuckert, Weingut L. Strobl, Weingut C. Strobl, and Weingut Weinrieder. The ticket price is 45 euros and includes a shopping voucher worth 25 euros, valid for all days. The tasting band also grants entry to the after-show party on Saturday evening. The package includes: one tasting band for the weekend, tastings of young wines, robust reserves, mature red wines, sparkling sekt, after-work tasting on Friday (5 pm–10 pm), tasting on Saturday (1 pm–8 pm), after-show party at the Kulturhaus (Saturday from 8 pm), and wine shopping on Sunday (9 am–12 pm).
