What's it about?
Popular special exhibition until November 29, 2026 - Archaeology meets art. From March 14 to November 29, 2026, MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya is dedicated to prehistoric depictions of the feminine and their lasting influence on contemporary artistic works. As figurines, as sketches or as photographs - in the exhibition curated by Elisabeth von Samsonow and Katharina Rebay-Salisbury, archaeological finds and contemporary art meet. An accompanying brochure allows visitors deeper insights into the curatorial considerations of artist and philosopher Elisabeth von Samsonow and archaeologist Katharina Rebay-Salisbury.
