On Sunday, November 15, children are invited to discover Lower Austria in diverse and playful ways – with free admission. After the great success last year, partner institutions from all four quarters of Lower Austria are participating. A varied program awaits with readings, workshops, as well as creative, research, and interactive stations. All children are encouraged to explore new things, try out their own interests and talents, and get to know the cultural, scientific, and societal diversity of Lower Austria. A highlight is the MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya, Schlossgasse 1, 2151 Asparn/Zaya, open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no registration required). Activities include shaping clay figures and firing them in the kiln, working with earth colors and spiders, spear throwing and making fire, as well as grinding grain and tasting bread. More information about the full program across Lower Austria and registration for workshops can be found at www.kultur4kids.at/kinderlandesfeiertag.
