Nostalgic Railway Rides with the Zayataler Schienentaxi

What's it about?

From May 1 to October 26, 2026, it will again be possible on all weekends and public holidays to enjoy the historic railway line between Mistelbach and Asparn an der Zaya or Grafensulz with the nostalgic motor train cars of the Zayataler Schienentaxi. Combined with a visit to the MAMUZ in Asparn/Zaya, a ride with a bicycle railcar on the extended route to Ernstbrunn, or a hike or bike tour in the Leiser Berge Nature Park, the Zayataler Schienentaxi offers an unforgettable experience for the whole family! For the end of the day, a cozy snack station located directly at the stop 'Grafensulz Draisinenalm' is available, where after a refreshment in the early evening, the return trip to Asparn/Zaya and further to Mistelbach can be undertaken. Children can enjoy outdoor play areas at both the 'Asparn an der Zaya' station and the 'Grafensulz Draisinenalm' stop.
