Rock in der Burg - Echoes of Ghosts & Coverqueen
What's it about?
On June 12, 2027, the impressive castle in Laa an der Thaya will once again transform into a unique open-air concert setting. With the festival "Rock in der Burg 2027," music fans can expect an atmospheric evening full of rock classics, energetic live performances, and a special atmosphere among historic walls. The musical program features two bands known for their captivating concert experiences. ECHOES OF GHOSTS counter the musical monotony of our days with pure, authentic live sound. Authentically and with a focus on quality, the band celebrates classics and cult songs to the delight of their steadily growing fan base, avoiding the overplayed tracks of mainstream radio and instead digging up some gems from their treasure chest. Forget everything for an evening, immerse yourself in the music, and simply enjoy. That’s what rock music is for — and that’s what COVERQUEEN offers. The band promises an energetic live experience with the great rock hits of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Queen of covers Ursula Prochazka, along with her band, takes you on a musical journey through several decades of rock history. The program includes songs by Tina Turner, Europe, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Joan Jett, Van Halen, Mother's Finest, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, and many more. "Rock in der Burg" is especially aimed at music lovers who appreciate high-quality live music and the special ambiance of the historic castle. Instead of a mass festival, the focus here is on a shared musical experience — with plenty of space to enjoy, celebrate, and reconnect with friends. The combination of an impressive setting, summer open-air atmosphere, and handcrafted rock music makes this event a highlight in the regional event calendar.
