What's it about?

Staatz invites to the "Genussmarkt unterm Staatzer Berg" (Taste Market under the Staatzer Mountain). Numerous regional producers and direct marketers will be present again. Since the Middle Ages, Staatz has had the right to hold two fairs per year, once in early summer and once in late autumn. The right of the market town of Staatz to hold two fairs is an ancient privilege for the benefit of the town, which today no longer holds the same significance as when it was granted. Nevertheless, we are pleased about this privilege and want to enable all our producers and direct marketers to use this sales event to present their products.
