The Staatzer Berg natural monument is not only an impressive limestone outcrop of the Weinviertel Klippenzone but also home to ecologically interesting rock-dry grasslands, which provide suitable habitat for rare and specialized animal and plant species. As these are increasingly overgrown with bushes, regular management by removing bushes and neophytes, such as the tree of heaven, is necessary. This conservation effort is also carried out as part of the Green Belt Workcamp with young people from all over the world. Help preserve this natural treasure of the municipality of Staatz!
