Neophyte Control – Fostering Diversity, Preventing Invasive Plants

What's it about?

On September 14, 2026, a lecture on neophyte control will take place in Staatz. It is organized by the market town of Staatz together with KLAR! Land um Laa and in cooperation with Natur im Garten.Diversely planted gardens are oases of well-being for people and valuable habitats for animals – at the same time, some new plant species spread rapidly and displace native species. The lecture shows which plants are problematic, how to prevent them and keep them in check, and presents attractive, climate-resilient alternatives for your own garden.
