Figurentheater - Frau Holle

What's it about?

Frau Holle Puppet Theater, freely adapted from Brothers Grimm. The kind-hearted Marie has to work from early morning till late for her wicked stepmother and her spoiled daughter Mariechen. One day, when her spindle falls into the well while she is spinning, the stepmother demands that Marie fetch it back. However, the well leads her into a wondrous world where a talking bread, a heavily laden apple tree, and finally Frau Holle await her. With diligence and helpfulness, Marie earns a very special reward. "Kikeriki! Kikeriki! Our Gold Marie is back!" announces the rooster as Marie returns home covered in gold. Seeing this wealth, the greedy stepmother senses her chance: Mariechen should also go to Frau Holle and return even richer. Price: €9 children, €13 adults.
