Galakonzert of the Egerländer Blasmusik Neusiedl am See - 100 Years of Ernst Mosch For over three decades, the Egerländer Blasmusik Neusiedl am See has been known for fine Bohemian sounds that uniquely combine joy and virtuosity. The internationally assembled ensemble brings together outstanding musicians from Austria, South Tyrol, and Germany. Regarding its lineup and concert activities, the orchestra led by conductor Elmar Walter and manager Rainer Stiassny knows no borders — only in its program does it remain uncompromising: it must be Bohemian. In 1994, Rainer and Thomas Stiassny founded the EU-Ensemble — a group of passionate musicians who performed in Neusiedl am See to carry Bohemian brass music into the future with heart, precision, and tradition. In its original lineup, which made the distinctive sound of Ernst Mosch and his Original Egerländer Musikanten world-famous, the ensemble now presents Bohemian brass music in its most noble form. Experience a gala concert that combines emotion and musical authenticity. The musical direction of the selected orchestra is in the hands of Upper Bavarian musician Elmar Walter, who was a founding member and has been inspiring as a conductor. The characteristic singing is provided by Stephi Hubacek with Michael Selig or Rainer Stiassny. Together as a duo, they lend the melodies a heartfelt, warm vocal color that makes every concert a special experience. The concert program includes numerous well-known Bohemian melodies that became Egerländer classics worldwide — including the "Astronautenmarsch" and the waltz "Rauschende Birken". Additionally, the orchestra showcases its musical diversity with excursions into other styles. Evergreens like "Moonlight Serenade," "A Son of a Preacherman," and various solo pieces have already been part of the program and continue to delight audiences. Driven by idealism and a strong sense of community, the Egerländer Blasmusik Neusiedl am See looks to the future with optimism.
