What's it about?

On October 2, 2026, Kreuzstetten will focus on climate change, weather, and what the current changes mean for our region. Under the title "KLIMASCHUTZ GEHT!" (Climate Protection Goes!), a walk with an accompanying lecture by meteorologist and ORF weather presenter Marcus Wadsak will take place in the community. During the walk through the landscape around Kreuzstetten, Marcus Wadsak will accompany the participants and offer opportunities for personal exchange. In the subsequent lecture, he will address questions such as how rising temperatures and weather extremes affect the Weinviertel, what opportunities and risks arise from these changes, and what each individual can do to contribute to a sustainable and healthy future.
