Night of 1000 Lights in the Parish Church of Bisamberg

What's it about?

On October 31, 2026, the Night of 1000 Lights will take place for the 22nd time in over 280 parishes across Austria as a prelude to All Saints' Day. This year, for the first time, the event will also be held in the Korneuburg deanery at the Parish Church of Bisamberg from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Youths will transform the Parish Church of Bisamberg with countless candles into a place that invites wonder, quiet reflection, contemplation, prayer, and preparation for the All Saints' Day celebration. The Night of 1000 Lights, a project by and for young people, offers young individuals the opportunity to actively contribute to the themes that touch them in the event's design. For inquiries, Manfred Sommer, MBA, Deputy Chair of the Parish Council of Bisamberg, can be reached at manfred.sommer@pfarre-bisamberg.at or +43 660 76 6 8181.
