Fascination Organ - A Workshop for AdultsDiscover the fascinating world of the organ in a workshop for adults – led by Augusteum organist Michael Seiberler. What lies behind the most powerful of all instruments? This workshop invites you not just to hear the organ, but to truly understand it – no prior knowledge, no sheet music required. The only prerequisite: curiosity.Under the guidance of Michael Seiberler, organist of the Augusteum, participants will first jointly build a fully functional miniature organ. Using an organ building kit, step by step, they will discover what lies behind keys, pipes, and wind chests – the fascinating mechanics of an instrument that has filled churches and concert halls for centuries.In the second part, the grand Augusteum organ opens up: a guided exploration of the Queen of Instruments deepens what was learned previously. Those who wish may then take to the keys themselves and make music – playing skills are expressly not required.The workshop concludes with a cozy Heuriger (traditional wine tavern) buffet – time to reflect, chat, and enjoy.
