What's it about?

The MS Wissenschaft makes a stop and invites visitors to an exciting exhibition all about the "Medicine of the Future".Health is one of the most important prerequisites for a good life. Medical research has made enormous progress in recent years. At the same time, an aging society, newly emerging diseases, and changing environmental conditions present medicine with new challenges.The exhibition shows how researchers are already working on the medicine of tomorrow and how new technologies can help to stay healthy. The focus is on, among other things, new approaches to treating cancer, the use of artificial intelligence for early detection of diseases, the use of patient data for personalized therapies, and the question of what gender-sensitive medicine can look like that closes data gaps and improves the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as endometriosis.Visitors can get active at around 30 exhibits: For example, they can test medicines on an artificial organ, measure their heartbeat with a camera, or virtually immerse themselves in the operating room of the future. At other stations, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the latest research on diseases such as dementia, diabetes, or endometriosis.The exhibition is designed for people aged 12 and over.Admission is free.Free highlight tours of the exhibition take place daily at 5:00 PM and last around 45 minutes. On weekends, there is an additional tour at 11:00 AM. Registration is not required.
