What's it about?
COMEDY BY MARKUS HIRTLER, alias Ermi-Oma Markus Hirtler worked for more than 20 years as a nurse, care manager, home director, and social worker. He created the character Ermi-Oma to give a voice to the people who are not easily heard in our 'aging disposal society.' The award-winning comedian portrays the elderly resident of a care home lovingly, with depth and a lot of empathy. "My goal is to promote understanding between generations and to inspire a desire for respectful coexistence." SELF-VERSTIMMT LIFE One can live self-verbally and die self-determined, but surely not inherit oneself. Or can one? Ermi-Oma suddenly has a huge stash of money due to a 'coincidence.' What to do? The audience is allowed to decide. A large-scale social study from Ermi-Oma's sewing box.
