Austria premiere: "House of Banksy Wien" - The pop-up exhibition about the street art superstar! The creators of the successful exhibition "The Mystery of Banksy - A Genius Mind" are returning to Vienna — and with an Austria premiere! After the great success in 2022 with over 100,000 visitors at Studio F of the Vienna Stadthalle, it will now be developed further as a pop-up exhibition: Starting October 23, 2026, "House of Banksy Wien - An Unauthorized Exhibition" will be on display at METAStadt. In total, more than four million people have visited one of the two exhibition formats at 41 locations in twelve countries, making them the most successful and most attended Banksy exhibitions ever. At METAStadt, the audience can experience a specially designed staging for Vienna on about 1,700 square meters. More than 150 motifs by the celebrated street artist will be shown — including his latest works. This makes "House of Banksy" one of the most extensive and in-demand Banksy exhibitions worldwide. Right next door, another extraordinary highlight awaits: Starting October 16, "Bubble Planet Wien - Erlebnis-Museum" (Experience Museum) will transform Vienna’s METAStadt into a fantastic world of colors, light, and illusions. After over six million visitors worldwide, the multi-sensory experience is coming to Austria for the first time. Covering around 1,800 square meters, visitors can explore imaginative worlds full of LED oceans, balloon landscapes, optical illusions, and virtual reality. One ticket — two experiences: With the combo day flex ticket, visitors can discover two extraordinary worlds in Vienna — "House of Banksy Wien" and "Bubble Planet Wien" — and save up to €24 compared to buying single tickets. The flexible ticket allows visits to both exhibitions on the booked day without fixed times, offering maximum freedom in planning the day. Two experiences, one ticket, and plenty of unforgettable impressions — the perfect opportunity for a special day in Vienna. Graffiti, photographs, sculptures, video installations, and prints on various materials such as canvas, fine art paper, wood, aluminum, plaster, concrete, and brick have been specially reproduced and assembled for this exhibition. In an elaborate and unique setting, visitors gain a comprehensive insight into the artist’s entire body of work. This homage and the displayed image installations are not authorized by the artist himself due to his still anonymous status. About 80% of all exhibited graffiti and motifs are now hardly or no longer accessible in their original form. They have been removed, torn down, destroyed, spray-painted over, or ripped from walls and then sold for a high price. Some of these, especially his serigraphs, are now in private collections or owned by art dealers. The no less impressive reproductions, which are created live on site for each exhibition by an internationally renowned team of graffiti artists, allow viewers to follow Banksy’s traces and make his art accessible and experiencable in a way never before seen and up close. "We want to make his works and especially the message behind each of his actions and works accessible to the public again and to point out how important it is to protect the few remaining originals in public space. Filling an exhibition like this with originals is not possible for the reasons shown," says Oliver Forster, the producer of the exhibition. The "House of Banksy - An Unauthorized Exhibition" brings the message of this artistic genius closer to a broader audience without the need to travel far. Here, you can see the most famous street
