What's it about?
STEAMING SATELLITES After years on stage, countless festival appearances, and several acclaimed albums, the Steaming Satellites have long been considered a fixture of the Austrian music scene. With their unmistakable sound blending indie rock, psychedelic, and a touch of electronic expansiveness, the band has built a loyal fan base—not only in the German-speaking world but also beyond. Since their debut album "Neurotic Handshake at the Local Clown Party" (2006), the Steaming Satellites have toured across Europe and in the USA. Their music has been celebrated in the charts and has also found its way into the film industry, for example with the song "How Dare You!" in the soundtrack of the award-winning film "Das finstere Tal". With their latest album "ANDROMEDA," the band around singer-songwriter Max Borchardt explores a love for Motown, resulting in an emotionally compelling and genre-spanning potpourri.
