Monti Betons Supernacht der Beatles

What's it about?

Every year, MONTI BETON celebrates a concert evening at the Metropol with music from the greatest and most successful band in pop and rock history. The cult band takes the audience on a musical journey through the 1960s with many background stories and witty remarks. 1966 was full of highlights: the seventh studio album "Revolver" was released in August. Also in August, the Beatles played their last paid concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, mainly due to the enormous touring stress and the screaming fans that drowned out the music. By deciding not to perform live anymore, they began to experiment more intensively with sound technology. This creative phase resulted in another legendary album that would change pop music worldwide: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Recording for this album started in November 1966. Monti Beton will perform many examples from this period live and with a large band: "Taxman," "Paperback Writer," "Yellow Submarine," "For No One." Additionally, other worldwide hits such as "Lady Madonna," "Let It Be," "Get Back," "Ob la di ob la da," "Here Comes the Sun," "A Day In The Life," among others. To top it off, there will naturally be some song jewels from the solo careers of the artists. After 1970, John, Paul, George, and Ringo remained top sellers for decades with worldwide hit guarantees. All of this will be presented in the typical style of MONTI BETON. An evening of superlatives in music and entertainment! In this spirit: "Come Together," "I hope someday you'll join us and the world will be as one," and "Love is the answer" (John Lennon).
