What's it about?
Catchy melodies, rousing rhythms and stylistic cross-overs that are difficult to pigeonhole: Benedikt Fehringer's music is as multifaceted and versatile as he is as a musician. With his project Fehringer's Kalte Küche (Fehringer's Cold Cuisine), the trumpeter, flugelhorn player and composer embarks on a musical journey of enjoyment around the world. Starting from his own roots in Alpine folk music, Fehringer combines influences from pop, jazz, French chanson, klezmer, Latin and Irish fiddle music to create independent compositions full of joy of playing and musical curiosity. Together with his "sous-chefs" Antonia Moschén, Thomas Zahel, Elias Zahradnik, Alex Putz and Teresa Müllner, he serves the audience musical delicacies with great charm and surprising spices.
