"Founded in 2023 by Angela Cory (AU) and Mauro Pandolfino (IT), "The Shallaras" embody the attitude of legends like Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, LaVern Baker and The Cramps. Their raw, danceable sound makes every audience sweat: Wiry, lively and full of rhythm. Let yourselves be intoxicated!" Angela Cory, born in Sydney, started in the Australian punk scene before leading rockabilly and R&B bands. After five years of touring in China with DJ DSK, she moved to Berlin, worked on film soundtracks and later joined the Berlin blues scene, collaborating with musicians such as Jan Hirte, Micha Maass and Roger Wade. Mauro Pandolfino, guitarist and composer from Rome (Italy), has worked with artists such as Saint Lu, Dave Stewart, and Soul Thrivers (Adam Sikora & Dvora Davis), Big Joe Stolle, TB Session Band, as well as in the African music scene with Batila, Afrikadelle and Carlos Dalelane. Mauro moves between rock’n’roll, blues, jazz, punk and electronic music.
