What's it about?

The German heavy metal pioneers ACCEPT are celebrating their 50th anniversary with an extensive European tour at the end of 2026, marking an important milestone in the band's extraordinary five-decade-long career at the forefront of heavy metal. The newly announced dates are part of ACCEPT's 50th Anniversary Tour, which includes 24 headline shows in 11 European countries. On this tour, the band will bring half a century of metal history to the stages of Europe and perform for fans in major cities in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. Guitarist Wolf Hoffmann commented: "It is incredible to celebrate ACCEPT's 50th anniversary, and this anniversary tour through Europe makes it even more special. The support of our fans over the decades has been overwhelming, and we can't wait to play these shows in so many countries and celebrate this milestone together." Since joining ACCEPT in 1976 at the age of only 16, Wolf has played a central role in the band. His unmistakable and characteristic guitar style has shaped not only the "sound" of ACCEPT but also influenced many other highly successful bands and guitarists. Thanks to Wolf's unwavering commitment, ACCEPT has become one of the most significant bands in heavy metal. He laid the musical foundation for the band and has accompanied it through the highs and lows of an extraordinary 50-year career. In addition to the anniversary tour, ACCEPT will release a special 50th-anniversary album later this year, featuring newly recorded classics, rare tracks, and guest appearances. The Swedish metallers DYNAZTY and the British newcomers TAILGUNNER will be special guests on the tour.
