What's it about?
Harri Stojka presents "ANARCHY" - uncompromising garage rock with attitude. The renowned Viennese guitarist Harri Stojka once again demonstrates his exceptional musical versatility. After his acclaimed "Stones Free" project, where he reinterpreted the music of the Rolling Stones, he now presents his own rock compositions "ANARCHY" - raw, loud, and uncompromising. With singer Peter Dürr, Stojka has found the ideal partner for his powerful songs. Together with Walter Hof on bass and Sigi Meier on drums, the quartet forms an energetic rock band that brings eleven new songs to the stage. Musically, "ANARCHY" deliberately operates within the tension of classic garage rock - direct, unpolished, and without superfluous effects. Harri Stojka himself describes the style as "garage rock": honest, raw, and full of energy. In terms of content, the album also sets clear accents. The songs address socially relevant topics - from the climate crisis in "Hot Out There" to increasing social pressure in "Keep Cool" to personal experiences and interpersonal relationships in "Love Isn't Fair." Harri Stojka says: "These songs fall into the garage rock category!" Singer Peter Dürr adds: "These lyrics are not only contemporary and reality-based, but also the hardest I have ever sung." Live premiere in Vienna The official live presentation of "ANARCHY" will take place on September 17th at ((szene)) Wien. Together with Peter Dürr (vocals), Walter Hof (bass), and Sigi Meier (drums), Harri Stojka will perform the new songs live for the first time. The album will be released in a limited small edition and will also be available via digital download and streaming platforms. The music video produced by Bruno Kratochvill for the SONG "PEOPLE" from the album "ANARCHY" will be released at the end of August.
