Farveblind (DK) at Werk, Vienna
What's it about?
Farveblind, the electro-punk band from Copenhagen, embodies a communal, decentralized approach to music production and is currently taking the Scandinavian electronic scene by storm. Their credo: "(…) spawned music that’s political and pleasure-seeking in equal measure–and apologising for neither." Reminding of the saying "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts," their new album "Micropleasures" is packed with top international features including itcallsme, k.flay, and Foreign Air. The final polishing was done by Gustav Brunn (Viagra Boys, Yung Lean). Musically, the three guys manage to create a unity from a perceived chaos of styles, sounds, and collaborators that has not been seen before on the international dancefloor. There is every reason to see this performance in person and form your own detailed impression.
