What's it about?
Sometimes the title of a tour is so fitting that no press release is needed — the name is almost self-explanatory. "Songs that are funny and sometimes a little sad, but that's okay" (short: LDLSUMEBTADIO) is such a title, and yes: it is a bit cumbersome and long. But if you don't need a press release anyway, that kind of cancels out, right!? Otherwise, it would just be something made up about "artistic development and gaining breadth," some rambling about "bravely balancing between 'funny and serious'" and buzzwords like "best of both worlds" or "sensitive and funny." And since Blonder Engel always enjoys the magic of the uniqueness of his concerts (in other words: and because he never sticks to the setlist and plays whatever he wants), such a rigid description is actually a misfit in terms of theme. In this sense: indulge in songs that are funny and sometimes a little sad. That's okay. Really! Look forward to a best of both worlds, where the artist balances between "funny and serious," gaining breadth and inviting you to a wonderfully unique concert evening that is both sensitive and funny.
