Die Donaupiraten - Das große ASAGAN-WeihnachtsWunschKonzert
What's it about?
The Danube Pirates & an ensemble of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra The big ASAGAN Christmas Wish Concert for the whole family With fine pop songs and Christmas carols, we celebrate poetry, stories, and 10 years of ASAGAN! On board: the ASAGAN children's choir, violin, cello, viola, and percussion from the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Josephine sings, Donny Jepp creates sparkling sounds on his Danube river guitar. Wolfgang Hartl and Erika Friedl display artistic illustrations on a large screen and, together with author Mia Kirsch and moderator Tobias Pichler, take a look behind the scenes of the world of ASAGAN. At the interactive photo point, you can finally step into the world of ASAGAN yourself. When we celebrate a birthday together, the entire audience becomes a choir! For 10 years, the artist collective ASAGAN has been telling stories from history in its award-winning book series. Time for the biggest birthday party of the year! Join us for the Christmas Wish Concert for the whole family! ASAGAN combines real history with new, fictional adventures and prints up to 500 years old with cheeky and modern heroes. In this way, the legendary world of ASAGAN is created, where the past can be rediscovered. This awakens curiosity about historical figures and places in Austria and beyond. The Danube Pirates are the band from the artistic book series. They set the stories to music and perform pop songs live, on CD, and streaming. In this concert, they are artistically enhanced and supported by musicians from the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Dance along, sing along, dream along!
