Sky du Mont - Silvester mit Sky du Mont - Lesung
What's it about?
At the turn of the year, the Theater Akzent welcomes one of the most well-known German-speaking actors and authors: Sky du Mont. The charismatic, new Hamburg resident has appeared in over 100 film and television productions and has shaped the German-speaking entertainment landscape for decades. He has appeared in internationally renowned productions such as Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut" alongside Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise; additionally, he worked for years with film greats like Gregory Peck, Laurence Olivier, William Holden, and Anthony Quinn. After 55 active years in front of the camera and his last role in the film hit "Das Kanu des Manitu" (among others, "Film of the Year 2025"), Sky du Mont recently announced his retirement from the film industry. Besides his international career as an actor, Sky du Mont has also achieved great success as an author and is now also live in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with his entertaining readings. These readings combine personal experiences and his encounters with many amusing incidents. For "Silvester im Akzent," Sky du Mont will come to Vienna for the first time with his reading.
