Vivaldi's famous "Four Seasons" resounds in Vienna's St. Charles Church. The Orchestra 1756 plays on original instruments, accompanied by soloists. Tradition meets vibrant music. - St. Charles Church in Vienna - "St. Karl Borromäus" - is considered the most important sacred building north of the Alps. It was built at the behest of Emperor Charles VI from 1716 after the last great plague epidemic and completed in 1737. In 1741, Antonio Vivaldi was buried directly at St. Charles Church. Until 1918, it was an imperial patron church. Today, you can experience authentic concerts in St. Charles Church with the Orchestra 1756 and its soloists playing on original instruments. Our traditional performances of Vivaldi's "4 Seasons" are now widely known for their high artistic competence and lively interpretation.
