Winterreise - Franz Schubert - with Clara Frühstück and Oliver Welter
What's it about?
In a hauntingly beautiful contemporary version of the work, two exceptional talents from the local music scene also captivate an audience that is relatively indifferent to classical music, thereby demonstrating that a substantial reinterpretation of the genre can be beneficial. Stunningly good (FM4). Clara Frühstück and Oliver Welter reached the summit of the Great Austrian Songbook and performed a 'Winterreise' that took the breath away. (ORF Ö1) Composition: Franz Schubert Texts: Wilhelm Müller Arrangement: Clara Frühstück and Oliver Welter Featuring: Clara Frühstück and Oliver Welter.
