What's it about?

Mind Over Matter presents Acres Special Guests: Wayside, What Lies Below, Lifespark "The Host" UK/EU Tour Viper Room, Vienna Tickets are available at oeticket.com: https://bit.ly/acres26 as well as at all oeticket.com pre-sale outlets and across Europe via the Eventim distribution network. Acres explores universal struggles, raw emotion, and life's trials and tribulations through an unpredictable and undeniable hybrid of insurgently catchy melodies, neck-breaking grooves, and disarmingly seductive soundscapes. Audiences first fell under the UK band's spell in 2019 when they released the fan favorite Lonely World. After touring extensively, they made significant progress with 2023’s Burning Throne. “My Everything” garnered 2.6 million Spotify streams, followed by “Hold On” with another 2 million streams on Spotify. KERRANG! praised how, “Acres display their potential with some big choruses to match,” and WHEN THE HORN BLOWS called Burning Throne “a classic metalcore album filled with swinging hooks, rough riffs, popping electronic elements, and lovely vocals that turn into monster screams.” In 2025, the rapidly rising quartet—Ben Lumber, Alex Freeman, Jack Rogers, Ash Scott—embraces a spirit of sonic evolution on their third full-length album, The Host [Solid State]. Working with The Plot In You frontman Landon Tewers as producer, the band creatively elevates their sound with a caustic, catchy, and conceptual work designed to provoke thought and emotion in equal measure. This era begins with the single “Bloodlust” and much more to come.
