Luziwuzi - I am the Empress
What's it about?
Archduke Ludwig Viktor alias Luziwuzi is considered the most eccentric Habsburg and the most complex historical figure of the Austrian imperial era. Many legends surround Emperor Franz Josef's youngest brother. Branded by some as a free spirit with "special inclinations" and a malicious gossip, he also distinguished himself as an art lover and darling of court society. As an eternal bachelor with no military or official duties, he lived a life that was otherwise impossible for anyone else, until several scandals led to a tragic end. Successful director Ruth Brauer-Kvam takes on this story and, with an extraordinary ensemble led by Tom Neuwirth aka Conchita Wurst in his theater debut, creates a musical-theatrical evening between lavish glamour and heartbreaking tragedy.
