BLOOD ORANGE (UK) "Tour 2026" presented by radio FM4 Devonté "Dev" Hynes will come to Vienna in summer 2026 with his much-celebrated music project Blood Orange for an exclusive open-air concert. On 26.08.2026, the British-American artist will bring his genre-bending sound to the Arena - a highlight for fans of innovative pop, R&B, indie, and experimental soul music. For years, Dev Hynes has been one of the most influential figures in contemporary pop culture. As Blood Orange, he combines personal narratives with stylistic openness and political sensitivity - shaping not only his own albums but also the work of numerous international top acts. In recent years, Hynes was, among other things, responsible for Harry Styles' Grammy performance as musical director and accompanied him on 15 sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden. He also worked intensively with artists such as Lorde, Turnstile, Caroline Polachek, and Daniel Caesar. Parallel to his pop productions, Blood Orange has also established himself as a composer of classical works, created film scores, and conceived music for the fashion house Marni. 2024 marked another highlight in his career: Dev Hynes won a Latin Grammy for his production work on Nathy Peluso's song "El Día Que Perdí Mi Juventud". At the same time, his earlier track "Champagne Coast" experienced an impressive revival and achieved gold status after going viral on TikTok. The album "Essex Honey", released in August 2025, is the first full studio album in several years and his most personal work to date. Blood Orange thus impressively proves that his releases will continue to be musically groundbreaking in the coming years. Inspired by Hynes' childhood in Essex and his exploration of loss and memory, the album weaves intimate reflections with a rich musical palette, from warm alternative pop to soulful sounds and experimental textures. The project features numerous prominent contributions - for example, from Lorde, Caroline Polachek, Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, and Brendan Yates (Turnstile) - and has been described by critics as a deeply moving meditation on identity, home, and healing. The open-air concert at the Arena Wien promises an atmospherically dense evening between new songs, classics from the celebrated Blood Orange catalog, and the unmistakable live aesthetic of an artist who constantly reinvents himself.
