What's it about?
With their seventh studio album in tow, the self-proclaimed world improvers are tearing through the country, one venue after another – accompanied by the ever-growing Schmierlappen Kommando: Liedfett is no longer a secret tip, but a collective state of euphoria, attitude, and joy of life. With their new self-titled album "liedfett," which will be released on April 24, 2026, Liedfett sounds as close, direct, and unvarnished as never before. Between departure and overwhelm, between broad grins and honest self-questioning, they bundle songs like "Alles wird gut" (Everything will be fine), "Zu kurz" (Too short), "Einsamkeitsgefahr" (Loneliness danger), "Das war ich" (That was me), and "Partybrille" (Party glasses) with six new tracks into an album that hits right in the present and, above all, every heart: It’s about stumbling through life, continuing despite doubts, speaking out loud when necessary – and being vulnerable when it must be. Showing attitude without wagging a finger. Whether on stage or around the campfire. Everywhere. Musically, Liedfett remains true to their powerful mix of German pop, punk energy, and uncompromising live character.
