The wonderfully restored Annakirche, THE baroque insider tip near the State Opera in Vienna's city center, opens its doors for contemplative Advent concerts. The program spans from Viennese Classicism to the most beautiful national and international Advent songs, masterfully interpreted by trumpeter and organist - a joyful and contemplative evening that sets the mood for the upcoming Christmas season and should not be missed. The heated church, consecrated by Empress Maria Theresia, is adorned with magnificent frescoes by Daniel Gran, the artist who also created the fresco cycle in the dome of the National Library's ceremonial hall. The "Trompetenzauber" in the Annakirche invites you to moments of reflection - moments in which you can escape the hustle and bustle of the pre-Christmas season to reflect on what is essential.
