Sunday, September 20, 2026 Children's Flea Market in the Wiener Prater "Kinder helfen Kinder" in 1020 Vienna Wurstelprater, 8 AM - 1 PM Young merchants will demonstrate their sales skills on September 20, 2026: dolls, Matchbox cars, or even electronics that were sorted out during spring cleaning are now intended to bring joy to other children. The Wurstelprater will be transformed into a children's paradise for rummaging and browsing. Kinder helfen Kindern (Children help Children) Prater Wien GmbH donates the proceeds from the stand fees to the Sterntalerhof children's hospice. The Schweizerhaus, run by the Karl Kolarik family, has supported the event for many years and will once again double the collected sum for the benefit of the children's hospice this year. The stand spaces are limited and will only be allocated to registered children. Registrations are now being accepted by email at kinderflohmarkt@praterwien.com, stating the first name, last name, and birth year of the participating child. There will be no on-site stand allocation and no waiting list. A maximum of 2 stand spaces per family will be allocated. Tables must be brought along. In a cherished Prater tradition, the stand rents will benefit the Sterntalerhof, which cares for families with seriously, chronically, and terminally ill children.
