((szene)) Soundgarden presented by ROCK ANTENNE Österreich with: BENEFIT CONCERT for DIE BOJE feat.: KERSTIN STRAHAMMER & BAND and BAD IDA It happens all too often that children and adolescents are affected by severe emotional burdens or profound traumatizing experiences – but the reality is also that children and adolescents usually face a tragic combination of the aforementioned burdens. This includes psychological and physical violence and abuse, chronic physical and psychological illnesses of parents, divorce battles or losses due to death/murder/suicide, and much more. All these children and adolescents are confronted with an overwhelming extent of suffering, grief, pain, despair, and helplessness, which often pushes them to the limits of what is bearable and threatens to make them "drown" in emotional overload. That's why "die Boje" exists – opened in Vienna in 2002 by dedicated members of the Austrian Society for Individual Psychology under the presidency of Dr.in Gertrude Bogyi, to offer free and prompt support to children and adolescents up to 18 years of age in crisis situations. "die Boje" has its main office in the 17th district of Vienna, Hernalser Hauptstraße 15, and since 2024 also a branch office in Tulln, Hauptplatz 24-25. However, due to the difficult economic situation, our financial situation is very strained. For this reason, we are organizing a benefit event in the Soundgarden of Szene Wien, together with the support of SZENE Wien and dedicated artists. With the benefit concert, we also want to create more visibility for the sometimes traumatic side of humanity and tell families and those affected: "We are here – we understand your suffering"! Like psychotherapy, music can make suffering and pain palpable in a special way – and at the same time provide support and the quiet feeling of being seen. Exactly this lively and connecting power should unfold this evening, when Kerstin Strahammer & Band and Bad Ida, in the spirit of die Boje, fill the world with sound and closeness. KERSTIN STRAHAMMER & BAND For the BOJE benefit concert, Kerstin Strahammer brings a specially assembled band of professional musicians to the stage. Together they deliver an energetic mix of soul, funk, and pop. At the center is Kerstin's expressive voice, which brings songs about passion, pain, and joy to life. A sensitively coordinated project with heart, groove, and genuine joy of playing – all for a good cause. BAD IDA is a Vienna-based band that has been thrilling audiences with its unique mix of soul, RnB, pop, rock, and blues since the release of their debut single "You Gotta Change" in 2021. Their music, also described as garage soul, is characterized by raw energy, emotional depth, and an unmistakable sound that sets them apart from other acts in the contemporary music scene. Since 2022, Bad Ida has been regularly performing live in Austria and Germany, bringing their dynamic shows to various cities and festivals. At their concerts, Bad Ida presents an energetic mix of songs from their debut album "Hope Less" (2023) as well as the current album "Ending Things" (2025) and convinces with a strong stage presence and powerful musical performance. In case of bad weather, the show will take place in the hall. ** ((szene)) Soundgarden 2026 Bigger, more modern, and better than ever.
