What's it about?

The world-famous Lipizzaner performances – the "Ballet of the White Stallions" – take place in the magnificent baroque Winter Riding School in the Hofburg, built between 1729 and 1735 under Charles VI: in the most beautiful riding hall in the world! The performances are the result of many years of training and intensive work by the riders and their Lipizzaners. The spirited young stallions enchant the audience just as much as the fully trained school stallions, who demonstrate their skills in the school quadrille, in the schools on and above the ground, in the Pas de Deux, and on the long rein. Enjoy the wonderful performance of the riders and their Lipizzaners, accompanied by classical Viennese music, in this atmosphere!
