"Everyone wants electricity, and therefore we have to live with such high-voltage pylons – it is just there, and now you can do something meaningful with it," is Thomas Matzer's underlying idea. With the aim of making the entrance to the Stefaniequellenweg more attractive, he came up with the idea of constructing a willow dome (Weidendom) directly at the pylon, and this proposal was met with enthusiasm by Mr. Wolfgang Ogris from Energie Steiermark. On March 26, 2018, 12 bundles of willows from all corners of the community (Ilztal, Weizbachtal, Raabtal, Dörflbachgraben) were tied together to form a shared willow dome.
