Teichwiesen Rohrbach

The Rohrbacher Teichwiesen in the Rosalia-Kogelberg Nature Park are a unique natural jewel in Burgenland, ideal for birdwatching and nature hikes. On an approximately 6 km long, barrier-free circular path, visitors can observe rare bird species such as night herons, marsh harriers, and bee-eaters, while enjoying the diverse flora, including orchids and lean meadows. The area is also home to endangered amphibian species such as the fire-bellied toad and the Danube crested newt. For families, there are eight lovingly designed rest and experience stations that invite visitors to linger. A special highlight is the view of the Teichwiesen from the Rohrbacher Kogel. The protected area is accessible year-round and offers a peaceful nature experience away from everyday life. The Rohrbacher Teichwiesen are freely accessible year-round and can be visited at any time!
