The shores are completely undeveloped, providing visitors with individual spots for swimming. Whether at the lively East beach with a jumping rock; at the family beach "Strandbad" with a sandy beach, giant slide, large children's play area in the water and also on land; or at the south shore, where quiet spots can be found — the Stubenbergsee is an ideal area for sports and leisure. The 3 km long circular trail attracts runners, walkers, and skaters. An electric boat can carry up to 60 excursion passengers, who can enjoy a approximately 45-minute round trip to view the shores from the water. Two leisure parks offer play and fun for young and old. Climbing park, Segway rental, and pedal boats can also be used outside the bathing season. Several restaurants and kiosks are located around the lake, catering to all culinary needs from fine dining to quick snacks. For overnight guests, there is a 4-star Seehotel, several 3-star establishments, and the JUFA. Boat trip on the Stubenbergsee: During a approximately 45-minute boat tour, you will learn interesting information about the region around the Stubenbergsee. In the summer months (July and August from Monday to Friday), the boat trip is free for day visitors with a valid lake entrance ticket from 4 p.m.! On weekends, there is lively activity on and around the lake, so for safety reasons, no boat trips take place on Saturdays and Sundays in July and August.
