Salzkammergut-Apotheke

The pharmacy was located in the building at Traungasse 5-7, also Marktplatz 15, without interruption from 1619 until December 2018. Since its inception, the business officially served the chamber workers, earning it the name "Salzkammerguts-Apotheke". In 1888, the brothers Mag. Leopold and Mag. Emmerich Eberstaller took over the pharmacy. It remains in the possession of descendants of this family to this day. At the end of 2018, the traditional pharmacy moved to Georgstraße 5 in the Traundorf district. The magnificent building still delights passers-by today.
