Can you imagine how small humans are in our solar system? Hike the Planet Trail and you will know. The sun and its 8 planets are depicted in their exact size and distance ratio on a scale of 1 : 1.1 billion over a length of 5.5 km. The starting point is at the main square, beginning with the sun - an iron artwork with a diameter of 1.26 m. The models of the planets are hemispheres, turned from noble serpentine, each mounted with the exact description of the planet on particularly large serpentine boulders. The Planet Trail in Bernstein leads you through our charming landscape, is not strenuous and can also be used with a stroller or bicycle. Please always follow the green/white "Planetenweg" signs.
