Neue Pfarrkirche

The poor structural condition and limited space in the nave of the old parish church led those responsible to seek possible solutions since 1983. The church expansion initially considered was not an option for both liturgical and monument preservation reasons. The purchase of a plot of land to the south of the old church enabled a solution: the construction of a new church space - not as a replacement for the old building, but as a supplement. After two years of construction, the new building was consecrated on November 29, 1998. The old and new parish churches are connected by a glass connecting structure.
